Dr. Andrea Russell, O.D., launched her optometry career with a B.S. from Juniata College, followed by earning her Doctor of Optometry degree with the highest honors from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She excels in managing eye diseases, including glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, dry eye, and cataracts, providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients.
She holds leadership roles within the Mid-Counties Optometric Society and maintains active memberships with the American Optometric Association and Pennsylvania Optometric Association. Her commitment to advancing optometric care has earned her multiple “Young Optometrist of the Year” awards from the Mid-Counties Optometric Society from 2012 to 2014.
Since joining Nittany Eye Associates in 2010, Dr. Russell has been a key figure in serving her hometown of Tyrone, Pennsylvania. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys biking, boating, and camping with her husband and three children, reflecting her dedication to her family and community.
