Tips for Maintaining Your Prescription Glasses

When it comes to preserving the longevity of your prescription lenses, there are a few golden rules that, if followed, can ensure years of excellent performance from your glasses.

  • Cleaning: Gently rub lenses with warm, soapy water and dry with a microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials. Complimentary cleaning materials are available at any location
  • Storage: Keep your glasses in a sturdy case to prevent scratches and damage. Never leave them unprotected in a bag or pocket.
  • Handling: When placing them down, close the frames first and lay them frame-side down. Avoid placing them on the floor or near bathroom splashes. Be mindful of hairspray near Anti-Reflective lenses.
  • Wearing: Keep them on your nose for optimal vision correction. Avoid wearing them on top of your head, as it can misalign the frames.

Bifocal Lenses

Bifocal lenses have long been a trusted choice for those with presbyopia, an age-related eye condition that causes difficulties with near vision in people aged 40 and over. These lenses feature two distinct optical powers in a single lens, typically with a visible line separating the distance and near vision segments.

Bifocals allow you to switch between these two powers by adjusting your gaze, making them ideal for tasks like reading or using digital devices while maintaining clear distance vision.

Progressive Lenses

Progressive lenses, often called no-line bifocals, are a remarkable option for individuals experiencing presbyopia. These lenses offer a seamless transition from distance to intermediate to near vision, eliminating the need for multiple pairs of glasses.

With progressive lenses, you can enjoy clear vision across all distances without any noticeable lines or disruptions in your field of view. Our progressive lens options are crafted with precision to ensure you experience ultimate visual comfort and clarity during your daily activities.

High-Index & Aspheric Lenses

High-index and aspheric lenses are perfect for those seeking thinner and lighter eyeglasses.

High-index lenses are crafted from materials with a higher refractive index, allowing them to bend light more efficiently. This means they can provide the same vision correction as traditional lenses but with a slimmer profile.

Aspheric lenses, on the other hand, have a more complex surface curvature that reduces distortions and aberrations, enhancing visual clarity.
